MUMBAI: Havas Media Group India has partnered with YouGov, a global research and analytics agency, for its syndicated study ‘Hi-Cricket’ that helps advertisers measure the impact of their ads during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. Hi-Cricket is the flagship property of Havas Sports & Entertainment. 

In comparison to last year’s Hi-Cricket study, there has been a 20% jump with 41% fans this year saying that they will watch each and every match.

MUMBAI: The Indian Premier League tops YouGov’s 2022 Sports Buzz Rankings in India for the second year in succession (no surprises there) with a Buzz score of 50.8.  Even in its 14th season and interrupted by COVID outbreaks which forced it to relocate to the UAE – the IPL continues to hold Indians in its thrall, creating a lot of positive Buzz.

Ahead of the finals, YouGov asked respondents on a week-on-week basis, who according to them will win IPL 2019 and which brands to they recall advertising the most in this season.
