MUMBAI: Ahmedabad and Kolkata will (as expected) host the IPL playoffs in front of full capacity crowds, the BCCI has confirmed. 

While Eden Gardens will host Qualifier 1 on May 24 followed by the Eliminator the next day, the Narendra Modi Stadium will play host to Qualifier 2 on May 27 and the final on May 29, ESPNcricinfo reports.

MUMBAI: CVC Capital Partners, owner of the new Indian Premier League franchise based out of Ahmedabad, has reportedly hired an agency to suggest a suitable name for the team ahead of the 2022 edition of the IPL. Vector agency has been mandated to choose a name based on the "heritage of Gujarat", Cricbuzz reports.
