SA20 League

US-based technology company FanCraze has been announced as SA20’s official digital collectibles partner in a multi-year partnership that will take South Africa's franchise based T20 league into the Metaverse. 

Interestingly, Sundar Raman, who is a co-owner alongside Cricket South Africa and SuperSport in the company that was established to manage SA20, is the co-founder of Fancraze along with Anshum Bhambri. The web 3.0 was set up in 2001

Coming back to the collaboration announcement, SA20 and FanCraze will launch official digital player cards from this week.

JOHANNESBURG: Leading global online betting platform Betway was Wednesday announced as title sponsor of SA20, South Africa's upcoming franchise-based T20 league.  The multi-year partnership, financial terms for which were not disclosed, will amplify both brands in key territories around the world, giving SA20 a global footprint in its inaugural year.

JOHANNESBURG: Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Tuesday announced the complete schedule for the inaugural edition of the SA20 League. The franchise-based T20 tournament will run from January 10 to February 11, 2023, with a break in between January 25 and February 1 when South Africa hosts England for a three-match ODI series.

Cricket South Africa (CSA), which has released its invitation to tender (ITT) for India territory media rights across all formats, is reportedly seeking $7 million per game where the Indian team is playing and $240,000 per match for all international fixtures. The $240,000 per match figure also applies to CSA's upcoming SA20 League, Cricbuzz reports.
