AUCKLAND: New Zealand Cricket (NZC) on Tuesday announced a ground-breaking agreement, which will see men and women players paid the same match fees.

New Zealand’s professional women’s and men’s cricketers will receive the same pay for the same work on the same day, in a landmark agreement struck between NZC, the six Major Associations, and the New Zealand Cricket Players Association.

NEW YORK: U.S. Soccer (USSF) and the U.S. Women’s National Team (USWNT) players Tuesday announced an agreement to resolve a six-year legal battle over equal pay.  The deal will see US women soccer players split $22 million plus bonuses that match those of their male counterparts.  The compensation agreed is about one-third of what they had sought in damages, CBS Sports reports.
