MUMBAI: Tata Group was on Thursday announced as title sponsor of the upcoming Women's Premier League, with Tata Capital, the financial services arm of the salt to software conglomerate, and Tata Motors "also joining". 

The rights tenure is for five years and runs from February 15 2023 to July 31 2027, or until 30 days after the completion of WPL Season 2027.

The inaugural edition of the Tata WPL is scheduled to take place between March 4th and March 26th and will be played in Mumbai across two venues - Brabourne Stadium and DY Patil Stadium.

The BCCI on Tuesday confirmed the Tata Group had secured the title rights for the Women's Premier League, the inaugural season for which kicks off in Mumbai on March 4. "I am delighted to announce the #TataGroup as the title sponsor of the inaugural #WPL. With their support, we're confident that we can take women's cricket to the next level," BCCI secretary Jay Shah tweeted.

MUMBAI: The Tata Group is set to replace Vivo as Indian Premier League title sponsor for the remaining two years that the Chinese mobile major has left on its five-year agreement with the BCCI.  “Yes, Tata group is coming in as IPL title sponsor," IPL chairman Brijesh Patel confirmed to PTI after the governing council meeting Tuesday.

MUMBAI: The Tata Group is reportedly in talks to acquire health and fitness startup Curefit. “After picking up majority stakes in online grocery BigBasket and online pharmacy 1mg, the Tata Group is now looking to acquire health and fitness startup Curefit,” The Economic Times reports, citing people aware of the company’s plans.
