production contract

MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has extended, for one more season (at least?), the production contract for the Indian Premier League, the three-year rights for which were held by Star India, that had expired with the 2020 edition of the IPL.

The BCCI extended the Star deal by a year "for want of time", Cricbuzz reports.

The broadcaster/producer is deploying about 900 personnel, apart from 100 commentators, for the 52-day league.
