MUMBAI: After an Indian cricketer figured among the list of players who tested positive for banned substances in the report for 2016 released by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), it emerges that that the world body has asked the International Cricket Council (ICC) to direct the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to allow drug-testing of Indian cricketers by the National Anti Doping Agency (NADA).

The identity of the cricketer, one among 153 BCCI accreditated cricketers, has not been revealed yet, says a PTI report.

MUMBAI: The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has published the 2018 list of prohibited substances, with a number of minor changes which includes the dropping of alcohol from the list. The list, which was approved by WADA’s Executive Committee on 24 September 2017, comes into force on 1 January 2018 and designates what substances and methods are prohibited both in and out-of-competition.
