MUMBAI: Sony Sports Network on Tuesday announced the extension of its collaboration with UEFA for all Europe's national team competitions up to 2028. 

This gives the network exclusive media rights for the 2024 and 2028 editions of UEFA EURO, along with its European qualifiers and friendly matches.

The UEFA tournaments will be available exclusively on both linear television in the Indian subcontinent, including India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, and Sri Lanka, as well as live-streamed on their on-demand OTT platform SonyLIV.

SHANGHAI: UEFA has announced a new, historic partnership with Chinese payment and lifestyle platform Alipay.  The agreement, worth a reported 200 million euros ($225 million), runs till 2026 and will include all UEFA national team football competitions during the period, including Euro 2020 and 2024, as well as the UEFA Nations League finals.

UEFA has received their ‘declaration of interest’ as the DFB, the governing body of German football, has named Munich as the candidate city.
