MUMBAI: The Paytm South Africa tour of India begins this Sunday September 15, with the first T20 played between the two countries. 

Star Sports Network, the official broadcaster for the series gears up with a dedicated line-up of daily special programmes as a prelude to what seems like a very exciting season of home cricket. This year is going to be the year of T20 – beginning with South Africa playing India.

NEW DELHI: The Indian cricket board (BCCI) has communicated to the International Cricket Council (ICC) its has not pencilled in Pakistan in any bilateral series, at least until 2023.  In its Future Tours Programme (FTP) submitted to world cricket's governing body for the years 2020-2023, India will neither host nor play Pakistan at a neutral venue.

MUMBAI: Two new venues, both from states where cricket is an "emerging game", could host two of the three Test matches during the home series against Sri Lanka later this year.  Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala and Barsapara in Assam are the two venues that are tipped to host the Tests, the decision on which was to be taken by the BCCI's Tours and Fixtures Committee on Tuesday.

JOHANNESBURG - Cricket South Africa (CSA) has confirmed the appointment of sports management professional Russell Adams as the tournament director for its upcoming T20 Global League (#T20GL). The Cape Town-born Adams, is well known to the global cricket fraternity, bringing years of international cricketing and sports management experience to the new #T20GL, which will kick off in November this year.

MUMBAI: Dubai businessman Ajay Sethi, who this week bought the Port Elizabeth franchise in Cricket South Africa's upcoming T20 Global League, has expressed an interest in buying into an Indian Premier League team. Speaking to Arabian Business, Channel2 Corporation Group chairman Sethi revealed he is looking at buying a stake in one of the IPL teams.
