MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Monday released the itinerary for Team India's 2021-22 international home season, along with the venues. 

The Indian cricket team will play 14 T20 Internationals and just three ODIs and four Tests at home between November 2021 and June 2022. The teams that will visit India during the eight-month period are New Zealand (November-December), West Indies (February 2022), Sri Lanka (February-March 2022) and South Africa (June 2022).

Manglik joined the Disney-owned network in 2014 from Network18, where his last posting was as general manager I.T. & Systems, CNBC TV18. The techie has a 17-year stint at Network18.

MUMBAI: New Zealand Cricket on Tuesday confirmed a four-month international winter schedule, incorporating tours to Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India, as well as the ICC T20 World Cup in the UAE. The BlackCaps will fly in to India immediately after the T20 World Cup, which concludes 14 November, for a series that comprises three T20 Internationals and two Tests.

MUMBAI: Anil Jayaraj, Star India executive vice-president Ad Sales, has reportedly quit the network after a stint of 6.5 years.  Jayaraj will be replaced by Anoop Govindan, currently senior vice-president & national advertising sales head, Star Sports, exchange4media reports.

MUMBAI: Bangladesh territory media rights for international cricket hosted by the BCCI, as well as the remaining games for the ongoing 2020-21 season of the Premier League, have been secured by freshly minted sportscaster T Sports.  The media rights agreement was managed by Singapore-based digital rights marketplace Allrites, which sublicensed the rights from Star India.

MUMBAI: With the second wave of the COVID-19 rampant in India and forcing the indefinite postponement of the Indian Premier league, Star India has pledged financial support of Rs 500 million for India's ongoing relief efforts.  The announcement was made through Star India's Twitter handle on Wednesday.

MUMBAI: In an effort to amplify reach, Indian Premier League host broadcaster Star India will be airing the 7.00 pm matches every Sunday at the ongoing VIVO IPL 2021 on the network's flagship Hindi general entertainment channel Star Plus.   The initiative will be activated from Sunday, April 18th, and will run till the conclusion of the IPL.

MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has extended, for one more season (at least?), the production contract for the Indian Premier League, the three-year rights for which were held by Star India, that had expired with the 2020 edition of the IPL.  The BCCI extended the Star deal by a year "for want of time", Cricbuzz reports.
