MUMBAI: Cricket NFT platform Rario Wednesday announced a $120 million Series A funding round led by Dream Capital, the corporate venture capital and M&A arm of Dream Sports.

Rario currently has the largest share of cricket NFT rights globally through exclusive partnerships with six international cricket leagues and a roster of 900+ cricketers. With Dream Capital’s investment, Rario now gets access to Dream Sports’ 140m users, who will be offered FIAT-only products in India, with the potential to create the largest cricket NFT platform globally.

NEW DELHI: leading Indian game streaming and e-sports platform Rooter has raised $25 million (Rs 185 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Lightbox, March Gaming, and Duane Park Ventures. 9Unicorns, ADvantage, Capital-A, and Goal Ventures also participated in the round, along with existing investors, including IeAD Sports & Health Tech Partners.

NEW DELHI: Fast growing Indian online poker platform 9stacks has become the first company in the industry to have raised a Series A funding. Worth Rs. 280 million, the round was led by its existing pool of investors and WaterBridge Ventures; which calls itself a ‘venture catalyst for tech entrepreneurs in the country’ having 30 years of experience in the field.
