NEW DELHI: Game and eSports streaming platform Rooter is going to host a Battlegrounds Mobile India tournament, slated to be held from July 25th to August 3rd. 

The tournament will be a pathway for the teams to qualify for Rooter Pro Series Lan scheduled later in the year. Thirty-two top Indian teams, including 24 invited teams and eight underdog teams (qualified from Rooter Underdog Series 6.0, where 5,000 teams played to get a slot), will face off in the 10-day tournament.

MUMBAI: Orangutan Gaming which claims one of Asia’s finest FreeFire and BattleGrounds Mobile India rosters, announced Monday game broadcasting and esports platform Rooter as its official streaming partner.  Orangutan will now be co-powered by Rooter, which will also be featured on the Orangutan’s Official Team Jersey.

NEW DELHI: Rooter, the game streaming platform, announced today that it had acquired the media rights for all of Skyesports’ IPs in one of the largest media rights deals in esports, for the next one year. Skyesports, the wholly owned subsidiary of Jet Skyesports Gaming Pvt Ltd, is the biggest esports tournament organizer in South Asia that conducts competitions under its self-owned IPs.

NEW DELHI: leading Indian game streaming and e-sports platform Rooter has raised $25 million (Rs 185 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Lightbox, March Gaming, and Duane Park Ventures. 9Unicorns, ADvantage, Capital-A, and Goal Ventures also participated in the round, along with existing investors, including IeAD Sports & Health Tech Partners.

NEW DELHI: Indian sports community platform Rooter has secured the broadcasting rights to the inaugural Vanuatu Blast T10 League. The platform will telecast matches on its website and mobile app from May 21. To further keep the fans engaged, Rooter may give them a chance to interact with the players during live sessions on the platform, as the fan engagement partner of the league.
