NEW DELHI: The BCCI ethics officer Justice (Retd) DK Jain has found Ms Rupa Gurunath, president of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) and daughter of former board president N Srinivasan, guilty of conflict of interest.

Gurunath, the first woman president of a BCCI affiliated unit, is a full-time director of India Cements Limited (ICL). She has been found guilty of indirect conflict of interest for ICL's close association with Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited (CSKCL).

MUMBAI: Retired Indian cricketer VVS Laxman, who is a member of the BCCI's cricket advisory committee along with fellow greats Sachin Tendulkar and Saurav Ganguly, has resigned from the CAC after being issued a conflict-of-interest showcause notice by BCCI ombudsman Justice (retired) DK Jain, regarding his role as a "mentor" of IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

NEW DELHI: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) ombudsman Justice (retired) DK Jain is set to get the Hardik Pandya-KL Rahul matter referred to him officially by the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA) when they meet in the capital on Thursday. Speaking to IANS, a senior board executive confirmed that the CoA would refer the matter to the ombudsman once they meet.
