Viacom18 closes stake share deal with Reliance, Bodhi, Paramount

MUMBAI: Media conglomerate Viacom 18, on Thursday, announced that it has completed the transaction for a strategic partnership with Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), Bodhi Tree Systems, and Paramount Global.

The closure of the deal comes just under a year (April 27, 2022, to be precise) after Reliance and Viacom18 announced the strategic partnership with Bodhi Tree Systems, which is a platform of James Murdoch's Lupa Systems and Uday Shankar.

RIL partners Proline to co-brand sports sportswear
MUMBAI: Reliance Industries (RIL) on Thursday said that it has entered in a partnership with ‘Proline’ to co-brand a range of sports apparel manufactured using its ‘R|Elan’ fabrics. As per the deal, R|Elan co-branded Proline products will use RIL’s R|Elan Kooltex or R|Elan FreeFlow fabrics to manufacture garments with special properties of odour free and quick dry.

MUMBAI: Reliance Industries Limited and Eros International PLC have announced that RIL, through a subsidiary, has agreed to subscribe to a 5%  equity stake in the NYSE-listed Eros at a price of $15 per share, which represents an 18 per cent premium to last closing price.  The transaction is subject to customary regulatory and other approvals.
