GoSports Foundation wins 'Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar' 2019

NEW DELHI: At the National Sports and Adventure Awards distributed on Thursday by the President of India, GoSports Foundation was a recipient of the Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar under the category of “Identification and nurturing of budding/young talent.”

The Gagan Narang Foundation was also presented with the award under the same category.

Reliance Young Champs adjudged best academy by AIFF
MUMBAI: Reliance Foundation's Navi Mumbai based residential football scholarship academy  Young Champs has been adjudged the number one grassroots academy in India by the All India Football Federation (AIFF). The AIFF citation comes two days after Reliance Foundation was conferred the Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar 2017 for Sports For Development initiatives at grassroots level across India.

NEW DELHI: Reliance Foundation has been awarded the Rashtriya Khel Protsahana Purushkar by President Ram Nath Kovind at a function at Rashtrapati Bhawan.  Foundation chairperson Nita Ambani was present to collect the award, which comes under the 'Sports for Development' category.

Railways to give Rs1.3m each to its Team India stars
NEW DELHI: Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu Thursday announced a cash award of Rs1.3 million for each of the 10 women's cricketers employed with his department for their inspiring show at the World Cup. Indian women's team ended runners-up at the ICC event, narrowly losing the title clash to hosts England. The minister made the announcement at a felicitation function for the cricketers.
