NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court on Friday declined to entertain a petition moved by a law student (?) upset over what he saw as a “media trial” that disgraced wrestler Sushil Kumar, who has been arrested in a murder case by the Delhi police, was being subjected to.

The Division Bench of Chief Justice D N Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh said the issue can be argued if Kumar himself approaches the court.

NEW DELHI: The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has sought a reply from the Union ministry of water resources and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) over charges that hundreds of thousands of litres of water are wasted during the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is held during the driest and hottest part of the year (April-May) in the country.
