NEW DELHI: The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has backed its officials Vikram Singh Sisodia, Namdev Shirgaonkar and Ravinder Chaudhry who appealed for a review of the Commonwealth Games Federation Court’s decision that reprimanded and issued a strong warning against them after needles were found in triple jumper Rakesh Babu and race walker Irfan Kolothum Thodi's room last week, that violated the CGF No Needle Policy.

GOLD COAST: The Indian contingent at the ongoing Commonwealth Games, already on notice for an earlier breach of the CGF's strict 'no needle policy', suffered further ignominy as two of its athletes were ordered to return home after a syringe was found in their room.
