MUMBAI: Nita Ambani, IOC member, has welcomed the newly amended draft constitution of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), terming it as a landmark moment in India’s Olympic dream. 

The final draft of the IOA's amended constitution as prepared by retired judge Justice L Nageswara Rao, has laid down some key changes, which can then be formally adopted in its general body meeting on November 10.

MUMBAI: Mrs Nita Ambani, chairperson of Reliance Foundation, will have the honour of presenting the ceremonial ‘Match Ball’ to NBA officials on Friday ahead of the Indiana Pacers vs Sacramento Kings pre-season game.  The ceremonial match ball handover is a mark of welcoming the NBA to India for their first ever NBA game in the country.

MUMBAI: In a significant development, Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, backed by IOA president Narindra Batra and International Olympic Committee member Nita Ambani, has informed IOC president Thomas Bach that Mumbai would be put forth as a candidate city to host the Youth Olympic Games in 2026 and 2032 Olympics.
