LONDON: Nissan has announced the acquisition of the Le Mans-based e.dams race team, with the Japanese manufacturer taking full ownership of its involvement in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

Nissan’s competition in Formula E supports its long-term commitment to electrification and sustainability laid out in Nissan’s Ambition 2030 plan. The Japanese company outlines the acquisition and taking full control of its Formula E project as the natural next step.

MANCHESTER: City Football Group has announced the extension of its global partnership with Nissan. This renewal will see the partnership enter its third term. The automaker was City Football Group’s first multi-club partner, becoming the Official Automotive Partner of the group and its football teams Manchester City, New York City FC and Melbourne City FC in 2014.

LONDON: Nissan Wednesday announced its long-term commitment to the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship through to the end of Season 12 (2025-2026) of the all-electric racing series.  Nissan joined the series in Season 5 as the only Japanese manufacturer. The Gen3 era of the championship begins in Season 9 (2022-23) and will feature even more powerful, faster cars.
