Football Delhi to run league for non-affiliated teams

NEW DELHI: In an effort to encourage more people to play the beautiful game, Football Delhi will launch a league for non-affiliated teams this season. 

With this initiative, the state federation hopes to develop an inclusive structure in the National Capital Region that will significantly contribute to the growth and development of the sport in the NCR.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.: North American stock-car racing series Nascar, Race Team Alliance and 704Games have announced a collaboration that will create the first-ever Nascar esports league on consoles, eNascar Heat Pro League.  The newly formed esports league will feature up to 16 race teams and 32 drivers, each owned and operated by prominent Nascar race teams.

BFI targets mid-2018 for pro league launch
NEW DELHI: With the attempted "revolt" by the old guard owning allegiance to Abhay Singh Chautala failing to find any traction, the Boxing Federation of India (BFI) is going ahead with its plans. The major one being to launch a franchise based boxing league templated on the IPL by the middle of next year.

BFI announces school, college basketball leagues
BENGALURU: The Basketball Federation of India has announced the dates for the Indian School and College Basketball Leagues (ISBL and ICBL).  ISBL will be held between 25th December and 15th March 2018 and ICBL will be held from 18th April to 31st July 2018 in each participating states.
