MUMBAI: When "enemy No.1" (read Pakistan Cricket Board) articulates what you (read BCCI) want to here, then it can be taken as good as a given that its chances have increased exponentially. 

Talking about this year's T20 World Cup, scheduled to be hosted by Australia in October, PCB CEO Wasim Khan said in an interview to Youtube Cricket Baaz Channel that it was unlikely the event could be held in Australia this year.

ICC reveals qualification path for Men’s T20 WC 2020
DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) Tuesday confirmed that India is one of the teams to have directly qualified for the Men’s T20 World Cup to be held in Australia from 18 October to 15 November 2020, based on the MRF Tyres Men’s T20I Team Rankings as on 31 December 2018.

ICC reverts back to ‘T20 World Cup’ from 2020 onwards
DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) Friday announced that it has renamed the ICC World T20 as the ICC T20 World Cup. This means the next edition of the events, both in Australia in in 2020 will be known as the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020.

Australia to host stand alone men's, women's World T20s in 2020
DUBAI: The venues and host cities for the ICC World T20 2020, which will be hosted by Australia, were announced Tuesday at events throughout the country. The eight host cities are Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
