MUMBAI: The Indian Premier League governing council on Sunday tentatively shortlisted six venues — Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai (optional) — for the cash-rich tourney, and have reportedly settled on 11 April as the start date for IPL 2021.
Not surprisingly, this has left Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad - the three IPL franchises that missed the hosting bus - feeling shortchanged.
