NEW YORK: GolfTV, the OTT subscription partnership between Discovery and the PGA Tour, currently serving as the international distributor for PGA Tour events, is expanding the content partnership agreed last year with Tiger Woods.
Discovery Communications CEO David Zaslav announced recently that Woods had agreed to a series of head-to-head matches around the world that will be available exclusively on GolfTV.

NEW DELHI: Discovery teed off its newly branded 'GOLFTV' streaming service in India Wednesday with the European Tour’s ongoing Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship (running through to January 19), while confirming that "full coverage" of the PGA Tour would start late February, a good three years ahead of its original schedule for this market.

NEW YORK: Discovery and the Ladies European Tour recently announced a new partnership that will see GOLFTV showcase the foremost players and events in European women’s golf starting 1 January 2019, when the global live and on-demand video streaming service will be launched.
The development follows a similar deal Discovery signed with the Men’s PGA Tour and European Tour competitions in October this year.
