The star batsman's resignation from captaincy roles across formats has seen his brand value drop from $237.7 million in 2020 to $185.7 million in 2021, the Celebrity Brand Valuation Report 2021 released by Duff & Phelps, Tuesday, avers.

Actor Ranveer Singh saw his brand growing and climbed a spot higher to come in at number two with a brand value of $158.3 million. Actor Akshay Kumar came in at number three with a brand value of $139.6 million.

MUMBAI: The Indian Premier League ecosystem value has dipped by 3.6% to Rs 458 billion (Rs 45,800 crore) post the 2020 season, from Rs 475 billion (Rs 47,500 crore) after the 2019 edition, according to the 2020 edition of Duff & Phelps' annual IPL Brand Valuation Report, a comprehensive study on brand values in the cricket world's richest annual event.

MUMBAI: The brand value of the Indian Premier League stands at $6.3 billion this year, an increase of 19% over the $5.3 billion world cricket's most valuable annual property registered in 2017. According to the IPL Brand Valuation Report 2018 released Wednesday by corporate finance advisory firm Duff & Phelps, the surge in valuation comes on the back of the big spike in broadcasting rights fee.
