COLOMBO: Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has has taken steps to strengthen anti-corruption measures at the venues where the domestic T20 League 2018 is being played and the hotels, which the players are stationed, after it was noted that suspicious individuals were present at the match venues such as in Dambulla during a league game between Galle and Kandy on Saturday.
"They appeared to be from the Indian sub-continent. Their excessive use of mobile phones at the stadium aroused suspicion and they were ordered out," a SLC official was quoted as saying to AFP.
