LONDON: IMG Wednesday announced it has renewed its international media rights distribution agreement with Cricket South Africa (CSA) until 2031.

The agency, which has been working with CSA for more than 30 years, was instrumental in securing the governing body’s recently announced Viacom18 Sports deal, which will see the channel air all senior men’s and women’s international competitions played in South Africa from 2024 to 2031.

MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India is yet to confirm dates for its South Africa tour in December this year. Cricket SA (CSA) president Chris Nenzani said it was frustrating that dates for India's summer tour have yet to be confirmed, the South African Sunday Times reported.

JOHANNESBURG - Cricket South Africa (CSA) has confirmed the appointment of sports management professional Russell Adams as the tournament director for its upcoming T20 Global League (#T20GL). The Cape Town-born Adams, is well known to the global cricket fraternity, bringing years of international cricketing and sports management experience to the new #T20GL, which will kick off in November this year.

MUMBAI: The Committee of Administrators (COA) appointed by the Supreme Court is in favour of dropping the word “Control” from the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India).  The suggestion has come from none other than Bishan Bedi, the former legendary Test spinner. “It is indeed a very good suggestion and personally I welcome it,” Vinod Rai, chief of the committee, told Deccan Chronicle.
