LONDON: IMG Wednesday announced it has renewed its international media rights distribution agreement with Cricket South Africa (CSA) until 2031.

The agency, which has been working with CSA for more than 30 years, was instrumental in securing the governing body’s recently announced Viacom18 Sports deal, which will see the channel air all senior men’s and women’s international competitions played in South Africa from 2024 to 2031.

JOHANNESBURG: Cricket South Africa has confirmed the updated schedule for the India upcoming men’s tour to South Africa.  As announced over the weekend, the tour has been reduced from three series to two; the Betway Test and One-Day International series, taking place from 26 December to 23 January 2022 across four venues, following successful engagement with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

South Africa's foreign ministry has said that a "full bio-secure environment" will be created for the Indian cricket team when it lands here for a highly-anticipated series next month and expressed its appreciation to the BCCI for not pulling out its "A" team despite the panic caused by the discovery of a new COVID-19 variant.
