NEW DELHI: The Bureau of the FIFA Council Friday lifted the suspension that was imposed on the All India Football Federation (AIFF) due to undue third-party influence. 

The decision was taken after FIFA received confirmation that the mandate of the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators that was set up to assume the powers of the AIFF executive committee had been terminated and that the AIFF administration had regained full control of the AIFF’s daily affairs.

NEW DELHI: The Committee of Administrators (CoA) on Tuesday asked the Supreme Court to formally discharge the CoA vide orders dated January 2, 2017, and January 30, 2017, in its eleventh and final status report, ANI reports. Once the BCCI elections get over, the CoA will be handing over the charge to the new body.

MUMBAI: The Committee of Administrators (CoA) on Wednesday issued the notice for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI's) Annual General Meeting - which will be held at the board’s headquarters here on October 23 at 11 am. As per the rule, the notice for the AGM needs to be issued 21 days prior to the AGM.

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Friday allowed the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association to hold elections to elect its office bearers on September 28. The apex court observed that the state cricket body has not fully adopted the new constitution of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), but it can certainly hold elections.
