MIES (Switzerland): Russia's flag carrier Aeroflot has become a FIBA partner and the official airline of the Basketball World Cup 2019.

This summer Aeroflot and FIBA are taking the Basketball World Cup trophy to cities around the globe, delivering a World Cup experience to fans and showcasing its greatest prize as part of basketball celebrations and FIBA's flagship competition.

Under the agreement, Aeroflot holds the presenting partner rights for the trophy tour and the trophy ceremony that will occur following the final in Beijing on September 15.

BEIJING: Fans have voted for "Son of Dreams" to be the official mascot of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019. This was made official on Wednesday - 500 days before the first-ever 32-team edition of FIBA's flagship competition tips off on August 31, 2019 - when Son of Dreams was unveiled during a ceremony at the Wukesong Indoor Stadium in China's capital.
