DHAKA: India will tour Bangladesh for the first time since 2015 beginning December 4. The itinerary for the tour announced here Thursday by the Bangladesh Cricket Board includes three ODIs and two Tests of the ICC World Test Championship cycle 2.

The tour kicks off with the ODI series with all matches taking place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka. The first Test will be held at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram with the two teams returning to Dhaka for the second Test.

MUMBAI: The England and Wales Cricket Board and the Bangladesh Cricket Board confirmed Tuesday that they had "mutually decided" (with more than a little nudging from the BCCI it does not need adding) to reschedule England’s Men’s planned six-match tour of Bangladesh, which was due to take place in September and October, to March 2023. The tour includes three One Day Internationals and three T20 Internationals.

THE BANGLADESH CRICKET BOARD (BCB) has sold the media rights for international matches played in the country over the next two-and-a-half years to local digital marketing agency Ban Tech for a reported $ 19.07 million (BDT 1.615 billion).  The company won the bid after quoting an offer price just above the $19 million floor price set by the board last month.

SRI LANKA CRICKET (SLC) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have decided to postpone the Bangladesh Cricket Team’s Tour of Sri Lanka in October-November 2020 to a later date. Bangladesh were due to travel to Sri Lanka this month to start preparing for a three-match series which is a part of the ICC World Test Championship.

DHAKA: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have announced that together with New Zealand Cricket (NZC), they have decided to postpone the Test series which was due to be played between the two sides in August and September this year. The two-match series, which will form part of the ICC World Test Championship, will now be rescheduled for a later date, which is currently unidentified.

DHAKA: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a one-time amount of BDT 20,000.00 (20,000 Taka) per person to assist women cricketers who had appeared in the 2018-19 Women’s NCL and have been in BCB’s selection camps in 2019-20. All cricketing activities of the BCB including women’s tournaments and training camps have been postponed indefinitely in relation to the COVID-19 outbreak.
