Star Sports launches docu-series ‘Dream On’ ahead of IPL

MUMBAI: Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the Indian Premier League (IPL) competition, has added more to the build-up for the 2019 competition by launching ‘Dream On – Game Banayega Name’, a special seven-part docu-series on the competition.

It will features India’s top young cricketers such as Khaleel Ahmed, Rinku Singh, Rahul and Deepak Chahar, Kulwant Khejroliya, Shivam Mavi, Aryaman Birla, Manzoor Dar and Shubman Gill, who will promote the IPL as the ultimate cricket platform in India where talent meets opportunity.

The series captures the trials and tribulations that these youngsters have been through to earn a place on the world’s biggest showcase of talent.

It is on the lines of the season’s marketing campaign, ‘Game Banayega Name’, which has been conceptualized and created by Taaproot Dentsu and focuses on how the tournament is a platform where the only thing that matters is the game one owns with the talent they have.

Dream On will be telecast every Saturday and Sunday starting 16 March on Star Sports 1 Hindi and Star Sports First.
