MADRID: Champions League winners Real Madrid and adidas have launched the La Liga club’s home and away kits for the next season. The club will continue to sport a white jersey at home, which also comprises of the black of the logo, jersey sponsor Emirates and the three adidas stripes, which can only be seen on the shoulders.It resembles the 2002 jersey. To modernise the classic design, there will be buttons on the collar.
The away jersey will have a dark tone like the last season. It will have no buttons but a V-neck, unlike the home jersey.
Interestingly, on the right side of the players’ kit, a logo depicting that Real are the defending champions of the FIFA Club World Cup, can be seen for the first time.
adidas has also innovated with the goalkeepers’ shirt with different looks of its horizontal stripes, while the coaching staff will have an exclusive jersey with a V-neck.
