Kerala Super League (KSL) franchise Malappuram FC has onboarded India wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson as a co-owner.
The club made the official announcement on Monday, September 9.
The announcement comes on the heels of Malappuram FC's historic first win, a 2-1 victory over Forca Kochi in an away match at Kochi's Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium.
Malappuram FC will play their home matches at the Payyanad Stadium, also known as the Malappuram District Sports Complex Stadium, which can host 30,000 fans.
Samson is currently featuring for India D in the 2024 Duleep Trophy tournament after receiving a late call-up after Ishan Kishan’s injury.
