BENGALURU: In collaboration with partner brands of Tata Consultancy Services World 10K, Procam International kick-started the Playscape Active Hub, an interactive platform for the active living community.
A custom-made website – the virtual Hub will host a series of interactive online sessions for participants conducted by notable names in the active lifestyle industry. The sessions will revolve around various aspects of sports and running where the participants will get to engage with experts and gain insights into active and healthy living.
The first session was held Tuesday with Michelle Taylor - head, Global Sports Sponsorship, Tata Consultancy Services; Frank Diana - managing partner, Tata Consultancy Services and Haley Price - head of Sponsorship, Tata Consultancy Services, North America, speaking about Future of Sports & This Run in a new avatar due to the circumstances with regards to COVID-19.
Other sessions lined up for the day included a Bollywood Dance Workshop at 5:30 pm by Winning Choreographer Vaibhav Ghuge. A workout session by Calisthenics Athlete and Weight Lifter Sanchit Singh and a session on hydration for 10K by Nutrition and Lifestyle Consultant Sarika Nair scheduled for 5 pm and 6:30 pm respectively arranged on behalf of FAST&UP.
On the following days, two more sessions will be organised by FAST&UP and ASICS. A session will be held on Wednesday, 23rd December, 11am with Vijayaraghavan Venugopal - co-founder & CEO - FAST&UP as the main speaker on Right Fuelling for your 10K. On behalf of ASICS, international tennis player & ASICS athlete Rohan Bopanna will conduct a session on Disciplining the Mind & Body on Friday, 25th December at 5:30 pm.
Additionally, the platform also has 3 time-bound daily sessions which have already commenced -
• The Runners Show - 11 - 11:30 am
• Workout Sessions by FAST&UP - 5 - 5:30 pm
• Expert Talks by FAST&UP - 6:30 - 7 pm
Being hosted in a digitally assisted avatar this year, participants from all over the globe can register and participate in the TCS App-enabled race between 20 to 27th December 2020. The 10K runners have the opportunity to choose their favourite athlete they wish to compete with.
Registrations for the TCS World 10K 2020 are already open at tcsworld10k.procam.in from 30th November, 6:00pm IST till 25th December.
Participants can choose to register in any of the four categories-
§ Open 10K and Open 5K is capped at Rs 499 and for an overseas participant it is $30.
§ Group Relay (10km - 4x2.5kms) or (10km – 2x5km) is Rs 499 per person and $30 for an overseas participant.
§ Group Relay (5km- 2x2.5kms) is Rs 499 per person and $30 per person for an overseas participant.
Registered participants will be rewarded with a personalised physical commemorative bib, a limited edition personalised Unity medal, personalised e-bib, personalised e-medal and an e-certificate.
