MUMBAI: The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) has reportedly replaced struggling edtech platform Unacademy as an official partner of the Indian Premier League for the 2023 season. 

Other than Unacademy, the IPL has Dream11, Cred, Upstok, Swiggy Instamart and RuPay as official partners, each of which pay an average of Rs 60 crore for a 74-match season.

If the report in Economic Times ultimately proves true, then STA would become the second Saudi firm after oil giant Aramco to sponsor the IPL. Aramco is the official Orange Cap and Purple Cap partner of the IPL.

MUMBAI: The sponsors of the IPL have extended their partnership with the BCCI to the 2020 Jio Women’s T20 Challenge.  IPL title sponsor Dream11, and official partners Tata Altroz, Unacademy, Paytm and CEAT have all become official sponsors of the Jio Women’s T20 Challenge.

BENGALURU: Unacademy, India’s leading learning platform, has raised an investment of $150 million in a round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2i. Existing investors General Atlantic, Sequoia Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, Facebook, and Blume Ventures also participated in the round. The latest funding round values Unacademy at $1.45 billion.

MUMBAI: The Indian Premier League Governing Council (IPL GC) Saturday announced India’s largest learning platform Unacademy as Official Partner for the IPL beginning with the 2020 edition, which will be held in the UAE from September 19th onwards.  The partnership, the financial terms for which were not disclosed, will cover three seasons of IPL.

MUMBAI: Education technology company Unacademy, already an official sponsor of the Indian Premier League, has, as per reports, not only extended its partnership for a further four years (2020-2023), but also bought bid papers for title sponsorship of the 2020 edition of the IPL.
