Rupa Gurunath

NEW DELHI: The BCCI ethics officer Justice (Retd) DK Jain has found Ms Rupa Gurunath, president of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) and daughter of former board president N Srinivasan, guilty of conflict of interest.

Gurunath, the first woman president of a BCCI affiliated unit, is a full-time director of India Cements Limited (ICL). She has been found guilty of indirect conflict of interest for ICL's close association with Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited (CSKCL).

MUMBAI: The ethics officer of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has issued a notice to Rupa Gurunath, daughter of Tamil Nadu cricket czar N Srinivasan and president of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA), in response to a complaint of conflict of interest that has been made regarding her position as head of the TNCA.

MUMBAI: N Srinivasan, the former BCCI and ICC chief and the man whose writ rules in Tamil Nadu cricket, has responded to critical comments made by Committee of Administrators chairman Vinod Rai following last week's anointing / electing of Srinivasan's daughter Rupa Gurunath as president of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association.
