MUMBAI: The Hero U-17 Women’s Championship 2019, organized by Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL) and Reliance Foundation, gets underway Monday in Kalyani, West Bengal. 

The tournament was announced earlier this year by FSDL chairperson Mrs Nita Mukesh Ambani while addressing the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) club owners' meet, which was also attended by All India Football Federation (AIFF) president Praful Patel.

MUMBAI: Mrs Nita Ambani, chairperson of Reliance Foundation, will have the honour of presenting the ceremonial ‘Match Ball’ to NBA officials on Friday ahead of the Indiana Pacers vs Sacramento Kings pre-season game.  The ceremonial match ball handover is a mark of welcoming the NBA to India for their first ever NBA game in the country.

MUMBAI: Mrs Nita Ambani, chairperson, Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL) and Reliance Foundation, has announced two key initiatives aimed at propelling growth of football in India, especially amongst girls. FSDL will kick off a four-team Under-17 women’s tournament and organise children’s leagues starting 2019-20 season.
