NEW DELHI: The Committee of Administrators (CoA), appointed to run Hockey India, on Thursday stated while it will not object to Elena Norman continuing to work for the federation, she must relinquish her positions in HI's managing committee and executive board.  The CoA also said that it will soon find an appropriate candidate to manage the day-to-day affairs of Hockey India.

NEW DELHI: Olympics Bronze medallist Lovlina Borgohain has been elected as the chair and a voting member on the board of directors for the Athletes’ Committee, the International Boxing Association (IBA) said on Thursday. Borgohain received the highest number of votes during the election held at the 2022 Women’s World Championships.

LAUSANNE: 92% of permanent venues used for the Olympic Games in the 21st century, and 85% of all permanent Olympic venues since 1896 remain in use, creating wide-ranging benefits for residents in Olympic host cities and regions. This number was revealed Friday by a new report from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), released at the IOC Session held remotely from Lausanne.
