MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Networks (SPN) has acquired exclusive rights to broadcast the 2022 Ballon d'Or in the Indian subcontinent, including India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, and Sri Lanka and non-exclusive rights in Pakistan.

PUNE: Tennis Premier League (TPL), which is set for its fourth season to take place from 7th to 11th December, will cater to a wider audience this time with Sony Sports Network onboarded as host broadcaster.   Sony Sports Network will telecast the tennis action from the Balewadi Stadium in Pune to every corner of the Indian subcontinent live on the SONY TEN 2 channels and OTT platform SonyLIV.

MUMBAI: This is interesting. It looks like Disney Star has taken a strategic call to let go media rights to the US Open, the final Grand Slam of the calendar year. The rights have been picked up by Sony Pictures Networks India. Without any fanfare it needs mentioning.

MUMBAI: As India approaches its 75th year of Independence, Ultimate Kho Kho and Sony Sports Network are preparing to launch the inaugural season.  Starting August 14, Sony Sports Network will broadcast the league in five languages on Sony TEN 1 (English), Sony TEN 3 (Hindi & Marathi), and Sony TEN 4 (Telugu & Tamil). The league will also be available to livestream on their premium OTT platform SonyLIV.
