Hero Indian Super League 2020-2021

PANJIM GOA: Mumbai City FC were crowned champions of Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2020-21 after a 2-1 win over ATK Mohun Bagan at the Fatorda Stadium in Goa on Saturday. 

David Williams gave the Mariners the lead but an own goal in the first half by Tiri and a Bipin Singh winner in the final minute of regulation time meant that the Islanders won ISL 2020-21.

Earlier, Mumbai City FC, having won the League Shield, became the second club from ISL after FC Goa last year, to earn a place in the AFC Champions League.

PANJIM, GOA: Mumbai City FC beat ATK Mohun Bagan 2-0 in the final league encounter of the Hero Indian Super League on Sunday to end as table toppers and book a place in the coveted AFC Champions League next season. ISL title holders ATK Mohun Bagan, who ended their fixtures in second spot, have qualified for the AFC Cup South Zone play-offs, which will be hosted in Male, Maldives.
