NEW YORK: ESPN+, the premium multi-sport, direct-to-consumer video service from The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) segment and ESPN, announced that 568,000 fans had tuned online on its first ever UFC Fight Night live stream on Friday and Saturday. This is a record for ESPN+ across all events since its inception in April last year.

NEW YORK: The Walt Disney Company and Twenty-First Century Fox, Inc. Thursday announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement for Disney to acquire 21st Century Fox, including the Twentieth Century Fox Film and Television studios, along with cable and international TV businesses, for approximately $52.4 billion in stock (subject to adjustment).
