Sky Sports has reportedly secured the UK territory live television rights for the inaugural edition of the Women's Premier League.

The five-team competition is set to get under way on Saturday, March 4 in a landmark moment for women's cricket.

Sky, who have reportedly withdrawn from IPL TV rights process, will carry the action, with the broadcaster's schedule updated to include the games on Wednesday (March 1), UK's The Cricketer reported.

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Networks India Private Limited (SPN) has acquired the exclusive media rights for Rugby World Cup 2019 from the Rugby World Cup Limited (RWCL).  The tournament will be held in Japan from 20th September to 2nd November and telecast in India live and exclusive on the SONY TEN 2 channels and will be livestreamed on SPN’s premium video on demand (VOD) service, SonyLIV.

LONDON: Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president Dana White has asserted that the leading mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion’s valuation stands at $7 billion following its mega 5-year global television rights deal with ESPN in May that is itself worth $1.5 billion.
