NEW DELHI: Finally acting on a directive from the the Supreme Court that was issued on March 15 this year, BCCI Ombudsman Justice (retired) DK Jain, in an order passed on August 7, has reduced the life ban imposed on cricketer S Sreesanth for alleged spot fixing to seven years.

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court proposes, the BCCI (read the Committee of Administrators) disposes... slowly, ever so slowly. BCCI ombudsman Justice (retired) DK Jain has said he has yet not received any formal request yet in regards to directives issued by the apex court to decide within three months the quantum of punishment to impose on cricketer S Sreesanth accused of spot fixing during the 2013 edition of the IPL.
