International Cricket Council

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has issued an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for Light Emitting Diode (LED) signage services for all ICC World Cups from the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 until the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027.

The ICC requires a partner who will be responsible for all LED signages, including perimeter boards and electronic sightscreens, as well as creating content and match-day production and delivery.

June 20: The International Cricket Council on Monday released its first Invitation To Tender (ITT) for media rights for the next cycle of ICC events starting in 2024. The ITT is for the Indian market only, with up to six packages available across TV only, digital only or a combination of both.

THE PAKISTAN CRICKET BOARD'S proposal to have an annual four-nation tournament, which features India, Australia, England and Pakistan, has expectedly been shot down by the International Cricket Council (ICC) board. The ICC board, which concluded its two-day meeting in Dubai on Sunday, noted that it was not practically possible to carve out a separate window considering the packed cricket calendar.

DUBAI: Discussions are on to “bridge the gap between women and men’s prize money” in cricket’s global competitions, the ICC’s chief executive Geoff Allardice has said. The game’s apex body plans to bring in parity in prize money for finishing positions in its men’s and women’s tournaments in the next eight-year cycle starting from 2024 to 2031.

DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has appointed Turnstile to work alongside its commercial team to value its sponsorship program for the next commercial rights cycle.  This remit encompasses all ICC events being held from 2024 to 2031, including the ICC Men’s and Women’s Cricket World Cups and T20 World Cups.

DUBAI: The International Cricket Council on Monday unveiled its growth strategy, developed in partnership with the members, that places women's cricket at the forefront.  The ICC also stressed the point that it is positioning "T20 as the growth format of the game across all of our members".

DUBAI: After an eight-month spell on an interim basis, Geoff Allardice has been appointed as the International Cricket Council's permanent CEO. The ICC made the announcement Sunday, with Allardice continuing in the role he took over in March. Allardice expressed his satisfaction upon his permanent appointment, extending his gratitude to ICC chair Greg Barclay.
