IAAF name, brand switch to World Athletics completed

LAUSANNE: The International Association of Athletics Federations is now officially World Athletics, a statement said. 

"We're now World Athletics," the sport's international governing body said on its website. "Welcome to the new World Athletics website, the place to come for all things about our wonderful sport. We'll be bringing you new features about athletes and the sport, as well as making it easier to find the things we know you love."

IAAF clears 3 Russians to compete under neutral flag
MONACO: The IAAF Doping Review Board has agreed that the applications of three Russians have met the exceptional eligibility criteria to compete in international competition as neutral athletes under competition rule 22.1A(b) while the Russian national federation (RusAF) remains suspended.

India to host World Cup for Shooting 2019
NEW DELHI: India will be hosting the Combined World Cup for Shooting in 2019, a qualifying event for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which will further boost the country's profile as a global shooting destination. The National Rifle Association of India's (NRAI) bid was approved by the International Shooting Sport Federation's executive committee and administrative council, at its meeting here.
