PANAJI: Goa it is! The odds on favorite from the outset will stage the seventh edition of the Hero Indian Super League behind closed doors across three venues, ISL promoter Football Sports Development Ltd (FSDL) announced Sunday.  The 2020-21 season of the ISL will be played at three venues - Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda; GMC Athletic Stadium, Bambolim; and Tilak Maidan Stadium, Vasco.

MUMBAI: Executives from Football Sports Development Ltd (FSDL), which runs the Hero Indian Super League, have reportedly formulated a detailed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the upcoming season, keeping health and safety as the primary factor in deciding all protocols.  IANS, quoting sources, reports that the SOPs have been communicated to all the 10 ISL clubs.

MUMBAI: Even as the Bengali sports media fraternity continue to talk up East Bengal FC's next-to-nonexistent chances of being a part of the Indian Super League in the upcoming season, Football Sports Development Limited, which runs the ISL, has made clear in a meeting with club representatives over the weekend that FSDL would be sticking to just 10 teams and would not be floating tenders for new outfits.

MUMBAI: Football Sports Development Ltd (FSDL), organiser of the Hero Indian Super League, has honed in on November to March as the timeline for the 2020-21 season of the ISL, while also leaning towards Kerala and / or Goa as likely venues in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. MUMBAI: Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), organisers and commercial rights holders of the Indian Super League had a (virtual one would assume) meeting on Wednesday to discuss the expansion of the ISL to a 12-team league in the 2020-2021 season, a media platform reported Wednesday.
