Eurosport acquires India broadcast rights for Formula 2

MUMBAI: Eurosport India has acquired the broadcasting rights to the 2021 FIA Formula 2 Championship - the primary feeder series to Formula 1.

The FIA Formula 2 Championship will take place over eight weekends with two sprint races on the Saturday, preceding an hour-long feature race on the Sunday. The 2021 season, which started in Bahrain in March, ends in December in Abu Dhabi, and will visit iconic circuits such as Silverstone and Monza this year, as well as Monaco this weekend (22-23 May).

Arjun steps up a gear to Formula 2, to race for Trident
BENGALURU: Arjun Maini will compete in the 2018 FIA Formula 2 Championship with Trident Motorsport. Along with racing for Trident, he will continue his association with the Haas F1 Team as a development driver which will see him embedded with the team, attending races and tests throughout the year and also participating in the team’s simulator programme.
