NEW DELHI: The International Tennis Federation has confirmed Dubai as the venue for the Asia/Oceania Group I Fed Cup matches, to be held in UAE's commercial capital from March 3 to 7.

MUMBAI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has agreed to host the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates, Mumbai Mirror reports. According to a Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) official who talked to Mirror, the BCCI’s understanding is that the tournament will be held in Dubai, tentatively in September.

DUBAI: Indian fitness chain cure.fit Healthcare Pvt Ltd has launched its first cult.fit centre in the UAE -  at Dubai's Palm Strip Mall. Headquartered in Bengaluru, the holistic healthcare company was founded in 2016 by Mukesh Bansal and Ankit Nagori with the aim to address preventive healthcare.

DUBAI: The BBC has signed a two year deal with Channel 2 Group Corporation (Dubai) to broadcast the Indian Premier League. BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra and the BBC Sport website will broadcast ball-by-ball commentary of the IPL, with coverage also on BBC Radio 5 Live and the BBC Asian Network.

DUBAI: The International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) will be holding its annual general body meeting on June 29 in the city and is reportedly considering the venue strongly for next year’s World Cup, Press Trust of India reports.  Dubai is also playing host to the ongoing six-nation Kabaddi Masters tournament.
