NEW DELHI: The Delhi franchise of Indian Premier League (IPL), unveiled its new identity Tuesday, which includes a new name, new crest, new colors and a totally new look for the upcoming season in the world’s premier T20 tournament.

Delhi Daredevils are now Delhi Capitals; the new name originates from an identity that’s exclusive to Delhi - the capital of India.

NEW DELHI: GMR Group owned IPL franchise Delhi Daredevils launched their 2018 season jersey at an event here where it was announced that Japanese multinational air conditioning manufacturing company Daikin would continue its association with DD as team sponsor for three more years.

NEW DELHI: Indian Premier League team Delhi Daredevils on Thursday advised that director and key member of the think-tank TA Sekar has decided to step down from his role in the franchise. Delhi Daredevils chief executive Hemant Dua confirmed that the former India fast bowler will no longer be part of the franchise for "personal reasons". Sekar has been associated with Delhi Daredevils since its inception.
