MUMBAI: Global oil major Gulf Oil Lubricants have confirmed enhancing its partnership with Italy’s Aprilia Racing courtesy a new multi-year deal starting from the upcoming MotoGP 2019 season which begins in Qatar, Motorsport Week reports.
Gulf Oil and Aprilia have been associated with each other since 2017 in the World Superbike Championship.
“The opportunity to move up into MotoGP, as a major partner of Aprilia Racing was a logical next step forward after World Superbikes,” Gulf Oil International VP Frank Rutten said.
